One of our core services, Vicente Advisory undertakes business and early-stage founder due diligence to ensure the basic underlying structures required by investors are in place. This helps to streamline the investment process considerably and allows all parties to trust that everyone in the room is aligned, fully engaged, and that there are no conflicts of interest. This service is typically comprised of a review and, where needs be, pre-agreed amends to:

• Banking and professional services engagements including subcontractors
• Budgets, and financial statements upon which investment decisions will be made
• Financial assessments including debts, loans and grants
• IP documents, including patents, products, designs and testing

We also provide a service that protects deal flows via warranty and indemnity Insurances (buy side and sell side) and the statements and warranties made during the process.

This due diligence and analysis is designed to flush out early-stage issues in a potential investment process to save time and cost in the event that the founder’s business was to prove unsuitable for investment.
